Electronic production engineer

The Role The role will be responsible for completing all engineering tasks to enable the production of our customers rsquo; products. Ensure correct assembly documentation is generated on time, to agreed production / kitting schedules. Ensure that product follows the best process flow for manufacturing and that all tooling is purchased on time from approved suppliers. Responsibilities Main Duties: bull; Using customer supplied information, create all required documentation so that product may be manufactured to customer, and industry standards bull; Ensure that all tooling is available for manufacturing 100% on time to kitting / manufacturing schedule bull; Maintain a good understanding of each manufacturing process and customer requirements bull; Generate and manage Bill of Materials (BoM) 24 hours from request bull; Raise and maintain customer query logs, manage updates and historic data, keep ongoing issues highlighted bull; Provide line support to resolve manufacturing issues bull; Review and implement improvements lsquo;build reported rsquo; by manufacturing to assembly instructions and help identify solutions to eliminate waste and improve quality output levels bull; Generation of instructions for any mid-build changes bull; Working with manufacturing on NPI product to ensure the best possible process rsquo; are used bull; Being a key part in Axis rsquo; continual improvement activities bull; Ensure the work area is kept clean, tidy, presentable and in line with our 5S programme Requirements Professional manner with excellent internal and external customer service skills Previous experience of working as a Production Engineer preferably Educated to A-Level standard HNC in Electronics in desirable The Package The salary offered for this position is GBP25,000- GBP30,000 to a candidate who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
