Our client is a waste management organisation based in Exeter seeking a motivated individual to join their customer service team. As a customer service advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional service to their clients, while also managing general administrative tasks. Job Title: Customer Service Advisor Location: Exeter Salary: GBP25,000 per year HOURS: Full time, 08.00am-5.00pm, Monday to Friday BENEFITS: Employee-owned business, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, onsite free parking, casual dress, and a great culture and welcoming environment! THE ROLE: You will be joining a team who all support each other and work towards a common goal in a positive, fast-paced environment. You will be an integral part of the customer service team, providing a first-class service, and completing general administrational duties. Responsibilities: Plan and prioritise workload to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines. Be the first point of contact for customers, providing accurate information and resolving inquiries swiftly. Identify the best solutions for each customer, creating value for both the organisation and clients. Communicate effectively through phone, face-to-face, and email interactions. Handle customer complaints empathetically, seeking resolutions that satisfy their needs. Maintain accurate records and produce necessary documentation and reports. Review and update company systems and procedures. Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and archiving. Adhere to company policies, particularly in terms of customer service, health and safety, and equality and diversity.Your Experience and Skills Proven customer service experience, demonstrating excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities, with great attention to detail. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and multitask effectively. Previous experience in waste management or a similar industry would be advantageous. Team player with the capability to work independently.
