Job title: Pipefitter Location: Glasgow - Govan and Scotstoun - Based on site and must be able to attend a recruitment day in Glasgow. We offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: GBP36,217.00 (shift allowance of 33% may be applicable) *Requirements: Trade Papers to be provided* What you #39;ll be doing: Fabricating and installing pipework systems in large and small-bore pipework using different materials (copper, cuni and carbon steel) Using a range of hand tools mechanical equipment to cut, bend, braze, solder and weld pipes Installing utilities aboard ship i.e., sinks, showers, and toiletsYour skills and experiences: Trade papers, e.g., formal apprenticeship (ability to provide papers) Current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, and use of associated equipment Clear understanding of SHE risks awareness Understanding of manufacturing processes Comfortable working in confined spaces and or at height Safety certification i.e., SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height etc Background in a major construction / manufacturing environmentBenefits: You #39;ll receive benefits including a competitive pension scheme, enhanced annual leave allowance and a Company contributed Share Incentive Plan.
