Job Role: Electrical Maintenance Engineer Location: Desborough, Northamptonshire Salary: GBP42,000-GBP45,000 + Overtime Available @ 1.5x (x2 Sundays) Hours: Monday-Friday Double Days (weekly rotations) 06.00-14.00, 14.00-22.00 Job Type: Full time, Permanent The client: Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, nationwide packaging organisation that, due to expansion rapid growth are welcoming another electrical maintenance engineer at their site based in Northamptonshire. The package: middot; Base Salary of between GBP42,000-GBP45,000 dependent on experience middot; Overtime available at 1.5X middot; 33 days holiday (Including Public Holidays) middot; Employee discount scheme (Highstreet stores, Gyms etc) middot; Committed to ongoing training and development middot; Pension scheme middot; Death in service x3 middot; Extensive Private Health Care, Retail Discounts 24/7 Employee Support middot; Company Sick pay middot; On site parking The Duties: middot; Attend breakdowns on site machinery conveyor system middot; Carry out PPMs and reactive breakdowns and maintenance in a timely manner to minimise machinery downtime. middot; Liaise with Engineering management fellow engineers to resolve breakdowns efficiently, professionally in a timely manner middot; Follow health safety procedures middot; Attend training courses for further development, in line with training middot; Working with other engineers on the team to maintain and repair plant machinery. middot; Working as the sole electrical engineer on the back shift with no support. The Requirements: middot; Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry (essential) middot; A good balance of Mechanical/Electrical Fault Finding, Repairs with an electrical bias preferred (essential) middot; Apprentice trained with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification within electrical engineering (essential) middot; Previous experience repairing fault finding on components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyor Systems, Converters, Inverters or PLCs (essential) middot; Understanding of Automated processes (advantageous) middot; An openness to learn, share practices attend training courses when needed (advantageous) middot; Full UK Drivers License Interaction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to, Finance IT, Technical Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
