Structural engineer

Structural Engineer Epsom GBP40k-GBP45k plus benefits Our client is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their Building Structures team in Epsom. They provide multidisciplinary engineering service solutions across a wide range of projects relating to buildings and infrastructure. Our client plays a leading role in some of the world #39;s most challenging engineering projects across sectors including aviation, education, commercial, residential, defence, energy and transportation. The role: Develop conceptual solutions to problems through to detailed design Assist in the execution of projects within defined design and cost parameters Undertake research, data collection and presentation of information Present results to clients under supervision of lead designer Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and the project BIM Execution plan Represent the company on site visits and at design team meetings Assist/mentor the development of apprentices and less experienced staff About you: Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering Graduate Member of relevant body (IStructE or ICE) Working towards or achieved Chartered Membership (IStructE or ICE) Proven experience in the design of structures using the conventional engineering materials (steel concrete, timber, masonry) to Eurocodes Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis and Revit experience is desirable but not essential) Strong communication and presentation skills that can support client relationships Flexibility and willingness to travel and work within other offices for periods of time Experience with parametric modelling software and software coding (Dynamo, python, C++ etc) is desirable and may be a development target Our client is offering a competitive salary, generous holiday allowance and hybrid working.
