Moulding Technician Sheffield Conitenals 4 Days 4 Nights - GBP30,000 - GBP34,628 (OT When and if needed) We are looking for a motivated Moulding Technician to join a market leading manufacturer in their respective field. Reporting directly to the Moulding Manager, you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of staff. The position will appeal to a ethusiatic indiviual looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company. Role Description Giving written and verbal handovers to the other shifts and the wider team. Accurate recording of downtime and scrap through Gemba Ensuring all paper records are up-to-date and accurate. Carrying out Tool/material trials as requested Hanging of Tools in machines and connecting all required auxiliaries Efficient starting of production runs. Colour/material changes. Maintaining optimum production on all machines, by minimising downtime and scrap production Ensuring production targets are met or improved where possible (cycle times) Responding to production/quality issues raised by Audits or team members.
