Assembly operative

Our client based in Oldham is looking for a skilled person to join their busy sheet metal workshop and assist with the labouring duties. Full training will be given but if you have past experience within a similar fabrication / sheet metal setting then this would be an advantage. Job Responsibilities: * General cleaning and tidiness within the workshop area. * Assembling some of the bespoke products from drawings. * Cutting sheet metal to size. * Primarily working with stainless steel. * Potentially doing site work and assisting in some of the installation work. * Assisting to load and unload deliveries. * Supplying materials to work benches in preparation for the welder / fabricators. * Adhering to all heal and safety regulations. Job Requirements: * Past experience working with sheet metal (Ideally worked with stainless steel previously) * Confident with manual handling and comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting. * Must have your own PPE. * Ideally have a valid driving licence. Hours: Monday ndash; Thursday 8am ndash; 5pm Friday 7am ndash; 12pm This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy friendly team in a physical role that could result in long term work for the right person.
