Service Engineer (CHP) Up to GBP37,000 + Van + Benefits Reading/Slough area MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Service Engineer to join a leading business within the Waste Management/Power Generation industry. As the Service Engineer you will be responsible for travelling to sites in the Reading/Slough area to carry out maintenance and repairs on a range of CHP Engines. As the Service Engineer, you will be responsible for: Travelling to sites across the Slough, Reading and Heathrow area to carry out maintenance and repairs on a range of CHP engines including; MTU, Cummins, MAN and Jenbacher Responding to breakdowns and carrying out repairs in an efficient manner Using computer based tools to fault find on other plant equipment Ensure all paperwork and legislation is followed and kept up to date Operate within strict Health Safety standards Work as part of an on call rota Other duties as required To be considered for this role you should have: Proven experience in an engine maintenance role A full UK Driving Licence is essential The ability to travel to various sites with a flexible approach to hours A relevant engineering qualification; Apprenticeship/NVQ/Btec/HNC etc A gas safe qualification is desirable but not essential What rsquo;s on offer?
