Responsibilities * To work alongside experienced mechanical design engineers assisting with the preparation of outline design schemes * Visiting site during the construction phase to monitor progress * Ensuring services conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards * Production of drawings under the direction of Engineers * Assisting with the checking of documents and carrying out detailed calculations * Undertaking duties as indicated by senior engineers to obtain experience and training in Mechanical Engineering * Understand and assist with the process of Building Physics calculations. * To work with a focus on low carbon design. Qualifications * MEng / BEng in Mechanical Engineering is essential * A desire to develop a career within building services design * High quality oral and written communications (reports, instructions etc) * Proficient in various software rsquo;s or the ability to learn software fast. e.g., cad, Revit. * A driving licence and car are essential for this role
