Role Overview As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion. You rsquo;ll lead a team of skilled engineers and operatives, ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities * Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire project life-cycle, from initial planning to final handover. Coordinate activities, allocate resources, and ensure timely project completion. * Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other external partners. Effective communication is key to project success. * Financial Oversight: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial targets. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. * Collaboration: Work closely with designers, surveyors, and other relevant parties to ensure seamless project execution. Foster a collaborative environment. * Health and Safety: Uphold strict adherence to health and safety regulations on-site. Prioritize the well-being of our team and stakeholders. * Timely Delivery: Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines. Regularly review progress and provide updates to senior management. * Quality Assurance: Monitor workmanship quality, address any issues promptly, and maintain high standards throughout the project. * Technical Support: Provide guidance and technical expertise to the engineering team. Troubleshoot challenges and optimize project processes. Requirements * Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a Mechanical Site Manager role or currently working as a Project Manager, preferably within the field * Qualifications: Relevant qualifications (SSSTS/SMSTS). Other qualifications in plumbing or pipefitting, or project management are an advantage. * Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Proficiency in project management software is advantageous. * Flexibility: Willingness to travel as required for project assignments.
