Estimator drylining subcontractor

THE COMPANY A Forward thinking drylining contractor who undertake drylining packagfes and associated trades, tendering packages up to GBP20m are actively on the market seeking a Drylining Estimator to join their team. Due to continued success they are looking to add some talent to their Estimating team and are looking to add a Senior Estimator with experience in Ceiling, Drylining or Flooring and associated works. THE ROLE With continue success against their competitors our client are looking to add an exceptional Estimator of tendering drylining, ceilings or flooring and associate works packages up to GBP20m. They are looking for someone with experience working with a specialist subcontractor specialising in internal trades, drylining , flooring, ceilings experience would be ideal, however they are open to conversation with anyone experienced in any of the above. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to: * Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement * Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities * Produce labour gangs through experience working with the Pre-Construction teams across the region. * Prepare tender summaries and estimating handovers and attend start-up pre-price and price meetings THE CANDIDATE The ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience: * Excellent communication and time management * Have minimum of 5 years #39; experience working as an Estimator with a specialist interiors subcontractor * Drylining or Ceilings or flooring experience required * Ability to work on tenders ranging from GBP1m-20m * Design, cost planning and bid management skills preferred * Understand key project risks and opportunitie Eden Brown is committed to equality in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer
