Field Service Engineer - Marine GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 + cGBP5K Car Allowance, Offshore Allowances O/T Great earning potential of GBP80k+ 80% travel UK Europe North East Ref: 18708 Field Service Engineer - Marine - The Role: #x2981; Fault finding, repair (to component level), servicing and testing of all types of main and auxiliary equipment, from engine room to bridge: ranging from high power generation, distribution, switchgear and propulsion ndash; to instrumentation, automation and navigation equipment #x2981; Procurement of spare parts and service work planning and scheduling #x2981; Planned maintenance, overhaul, upgrades and retrofits #x2981; Commissioning and setting to work of new and upgraded systems #x2981; Modifications to existing installations #x2981; Close collaboration with the electrical and control systems design department to plan, design and deliver both new and retrofit solutions in marine propulsion and auxiliary plant, offshore production systems and offshore construction mission equipment Field Service Engineer - Marine - The Person: #x2981; Good working knowledge of Electrical and Electronic Engineering #x2981; Experience with PLCs, ideally repairs down to component level ndash; e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley #x2981; Experience of variable frequency drives #x2981; Flexibility with travel and nights away from home #x2981; Knowledge of High Voltage (HV) Low Voltage (LV) Systems #x2981; Prior Electro-Technical Officer / ETO experience and a marine engineering qualification would be highly beneficial, but not essential Located in Teeside, this role would be commutable from Darlington, Hartlepool, Stockton-on-Tees Middlesbrough By applying for tis role, you are consenting for us to hold and process your data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulations.
