Requirements: At least a bachelor rsquo;s degree in English Literature, Language, or a related subject. Genuine passion for the English field, and a desire to instil this into students aged 11-16. A friendly, approachable personality, alongside the ability to communicate in a clear manner. Previous experience of working with students, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not essential. The Role As an English Academic Coach, your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small group support to students aged 11-16 as they progress through the English GCSE national curriculum. Assist teaching staff in the planning of engaging lessons and in the creation of effective learning materials. Monitoring and tracking pupil progression in order to adapt learning materials and devise support strategies to suit each individual rsquo;s needs. Building strong relationships with students and staff to maintain a positive learning environment.
