System Developer Up to 45,000 DOE Monday ndash; Friday Warrington Job Description: MPJ Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established business operating within the insurance industry. This innovative company has over a decade of experience and excels within the market. They rsquo;re now looking for a System Developer to join them. Working closely with their Senior System Developer to maintain existing software and develop new software alongside IT maintenance. What You rsquo;ll Be Doing: * Maintain existing software: Microsoft ASP.NET Web Forms, Windows services, Web services, SQL Server, C#, VB.NET, Azure etc. * Develop new software: Microsoft ASP.NET Core Razor Pages, SQL Server, C#, Azure etc. * Maintaining and develop Microsoft SSRS and build Power BI reports. * Help with setting up new users: Logins, Office 36e, our HRIS is via MHR People First, we use MS Teams and Outlook 365 integration. * To support team members and assist in other areas of the business as fluctuations in business needs require. * To maintain up to date knowledge of the company rsquo;s products and continuously seek to develop your skills and knowledge, taking part in training provided by the company in support of our values. What Experience We rsquo;re Looking For: * Writing applications with C# and VB.NET. * Creating Web applications using ASP.NET Web Forms, Razor Pages or MVC. * Experience with SQL Server. * Database design. * Web Services. * SSRS Power BI reports. * HTML, CSS, jQuery, AJAX, Bootstrap experience. * Microsoft Azure. * Minimum of 5 GCSE rsquo;s (or equivalent) Grade A ndash; C including English and Maths. * Relevant Degree, for example, BSc.
