As a global leader in the industry, we are looking for two highly skilled individuals to join the team, providing support to customers in a variety of sectors, including Metal, Dyno Test Rigs, Hydrogen Electrolyzer PSUs, EV Charging points and Battery Energy Storage. Field Service Engineer x2 GBP32k - GBP37k + GBP6k Car Allowance Or Car + Overtime + Training Home Based/Hybrid ndash; Greater Midlands/North West Ref: 22692 #x2981; An opportunity to work on a variety of unique, bespoke systems. #x2981; A hybrid role with extensive travel throughout the UK and occasionally internationally. As a Field Service Engineer, you will: #x2981; Be a primary point of contact between the company and customers #x2981; Commission new systems individually and as part of a team on larger projects. #x2981; Work closely with Project Engineers on project testing and functionality. #x2981; Provide emergency field service for customers when equipment or a process breaks. #x2981; Offer telephone, email, and other support to customer engineering and maintenance staff. #x2981; Ensure the system operates as required, following Functional Design Specification for new equipment. #x2981; Analyse and provide alternate solutions to problems and select optimal solutions. #x2981; Encourage the opportunity to sell additional value-added services, spare parts, upgrades etc. The ideal candidates for the Field Service Engineer roles should have: #x2981; HNC / HND or higher qualification. #x2981; Completed an apprenticeship in Electrical, Electronic or Automation. #x2981; AC or DC drive experience. #x2981; PLC and HMI #39;s experience. #x2981; Strong technical skills in electric fundamentals and computers. #x2981; Excellent communication skills.
