Control systems engineer

A well-established British Manufacturing company is now seeking to recruit an experienced Control Systems Engineer to join their stable engineering team. Cambridgeshire Ref: 22539 Control Systems Engineer ndash; The Role: #x2981; Developing PLC programs for machines and systems (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley) #x2981; Developing electrical and electronic designs for new projects on EPlan #x2981; Performing Safety calculation for machines and systems (Sistema) #x2981; Providing advice on electrical issues of machines or systems #x2981; Developing and documenting test procedures for designed machinery #x2981; Document to the required level for CE compliance, the electrics of equipment developed #x2981; Assistance with site commissioning worldwide #x2981; This role may involve an element of travel for commissioning duties, however it is not expected to be often Control Systems Engineer ndash; The Person: #x2981; Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience #x2981; Exposure to electrical layout, circuit boards, PLC #x2981; Experience of EPlan P8 #x2981; Experience within the manufacturing industry #x2981; Experience with PLC #39;s, Safety, commissioning #x2981; Thorough understanding of electrical concepts, electrical power systems, computers and software #x2981; Knowledge of machinery safety concepts and requirements #x2981; Ability to write well structured, documented and reusable code #x2981; Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team #x2981; Knowledge about gas controls and standard would also be an advantage #x2981; Experience of industrial networks such as CC IE Link, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP Located in the Peterborough area candidates based in Corby, Uppingham, Yaxley, Huntingdon, Wisbech, Stamford and all surrounding areas are invited to apply.
