HGV Class 1 Day Night Drivers Location ndash; Chepstow NP16 Salary: * Days GBP17.00 - GBP21.00 PER HOUR * Nights GBP18.00 - GBP21.00 PER HOUR Shift pattern, Thursday - Monday. * Days 05.00 - 07.00 start times * Nights 17.00 - 19.00 start times Must be able to work weekends so you could work Thursday - Sunday/Monday. We #39;re looking for qualified and experienced HGV class 1 drivers for regular work on an ongoing Thursday to Sunday/Monday basis, day nights shifts. The role is completing a range of different class 1 roles, trunking, RDC to RDC, ensuring customers receive a high level of customer service. Key tasks: * Delivering items to customers * Trunking Duties: - Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment - Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations - Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption - Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries Requirements: - Valid commercial driver #39;s licence (CDL) - Clean driving record with no major violations - Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role - Ability to operate and maintain various types of trucks and trailers - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines - Strong communication and customer service skills Must complete an unpaid induction before starting with the company which are available on Monday 20th or Tuesday 21st May 2024 If you feel you are the right fit for this role and you are looking for consistent ongoing work, click apply and somebody from Pin Point Recruitment will give you a call to discuss this role further
