Cnc machinist nights

A long-established and highly successful heavy machining company requires nightshift CNC Machinists to be based at their Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL7 site Hours of work are four 12 hour nightshifts per week, 18.00pm to 06.00am Monday to Thursday. Roles available: Manual Vertical Borer setter/operator Candidate must: * Have experience of setting and operating manual vertical boring machines or have a turning background. * Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces. * Have the ability to self-inspect. * Be willing to work overtime when needed. Manual Horizontal Borer setter/operator Candidate must: * Have experience of setting and operating manual horizontal boring machines or have a milling background. * Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces. * Have the ability to self-inspect. * Be willing to work overtime when needed. CNC Horizontal Borer setter/operator/programmer Candidate must: * Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC horizontal boring/milling machines using the Heidenhain control system. * Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces. * Have the ability to self-inspect. * Be willing to work overtime when needed. CNC Vertical Borer setter/operator/programmer Candidate must: * Have experience of setting, operating and programming CNC Vertical boring/lathe machines using the Fanuc control system (This machine also used Cimco CADCam for programming.) * Be able to work to customer issued drawings and specifications to produce medium to heavy workpieces. * Have the ability to self-inspect * Be willing to work overtime when needed.
