English Teacher (SEMH School) Location: Lancaster, Lancashire Salary: GBP153.85 - GBP238.59 per day Start September 2024 - July 2025 Tradewind are currently seeking an experienced English Teacher for a special educational needs and mental health (SEMH) school within Lancaster. The successful candidate will have experience working with children and young people with SEMH ADHD, ASD, needs and a passion for helping them achieve their full potential. Responsibilities: Planning and delivering engaging and effective English lessons to pupils with SEMH needs Assessing, marking and providing feedback on pupils #39; work Monitoring and evaluating pupils #39; progress Working closely with other teachers and support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) Creating a positive and supportive learning environment for pupilsRequirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching English in a SEMH setting Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and assessment requirements Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to work well as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Flexibility and adaptabilityThis is a great opportunity for an experienced English teacher to make a real difference to the lives of young people with SEMH needs.
