Position: Chassis Dyno Test Engineer Sector : Body, Structures Chassis Location: Warwick Position Type: Contract Inside IR35: I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Warwick who are seeking a Chassis Dyno Test Engineer to join their team Job Description As a Chassis DynoTest Engineer your main responsibilities are: This role is based within the Clients #39; collaboration areas of Warwick University and supports both the University, Client and third Party activities. You will be technically outfacing and responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Chassis Dynamometer test facility, dealing with project planning and execution of test programs. You will be required to promote the facility at external events and work with the business team to develop the customer base both internally within the Client University partners but also promote the test capability more widely within the industry to third parties. Qualifications / Skills needed Knowledge of combustion, hybrid and electric vehicle technology Familiarity with chassis dynamometer systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition tools Experience in Chassis Dynamometer Vehicle Emissions Test role is highly desirable Capable of evaluating physical test data, drawing conclusions and being able to articulate to technical customer representatives Perform pre-test vehicle inspections to ensure they meet test requirements Experience in analysing emissions test results using specialized software tools Experience in chassis dynamometer emissions tests on combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles Why work through Contech #39;s?
