Import/Export Logistics Support Burton-on-Trent GBP27,000 - GBP31,000 DOE Our client is looking for an experienced administrator with ideally import / export knowledge to join an established team. This role is initially a 6 month FTC with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The role bull; Develop and build relationships to ensure a high level of customer service is provided to clients. bull; Manage the Middle Eastern Exports from UK factory, checking instructions from HQ. bull; Take requests and queries from the customs flow inbound and outbound and resolve them effectively and efficiently within agreed response times. bull; Ensure stock transfers between WHs arrive when planned and needed. bull; Support the commercial result with late night month end invoicing. bull; Manage the inbound deliveries into the local warehouse in the Slot Management tool (SMT), liaising with suppliers and the 3PL provider to insure smooth changeovers. bull; Liaise with 3rd parties, hauliers, HQ, warehouse operators. bull; Cover for Export colleagues for the Far Eastern markets when needed. bull; Raise purchase orders for certain suppliers. bull; Take ownership of the reverse logistics procedures managing collections/refusals/delivery discrepancies and investigating with the relevant parties to ensure stock reconciliation and closing off the process by issuing relevant documents to the end customer. bull; POD management with all 3PL rsquo;s bull; Overseeing the implementation of the EPOD. What we rsquo;re looking for bull; A bachelor rsquo;s degree in Economics, Logistics or Engineering. bull; Previous experience in freight forwarding / logistics would be advantageous. bull; SAP G20 skills would be advantageous. bull; Good verbal and written communication, to provide a professional image to customers and suppliers. bull; Comfortable in an international environment. bull; IT literate with excellent excel skills. bull; The capacity to work in a high-pressure environment whilst remaining calm when under pressure. bull; The ability to instruct a global network of agents, suppliers, shipping lines, hauliers. bull; The skill to prioritise a large number of tasks to ensure accuracy, and deliver results with great attention to detail and a high sense of urgency. bull; A positive attitude and good problem-solving skills and to apply lessons learned. bull; The drive to succeed and want to make a contribution to the business
