Marketing administrator

A thriving secondary school Academy in the Salford area, are looking for an experienced Marketing Administrator to join their marketing and communications team immediately on a temporary basis. This is a full time role expected to continue on a long-term basis until at least the end of July, possibly longer. You will work 5 days a week, starting as soon as possible. The working hours are 8am - 4pm, Monday - Friday, term-time only. Due to the nature of the role, the school requires someone who is immediately available and who has the relevant experience to hit the ground running. The successful applicant will be confident, personable and used to working with social media, mobile phones, and various technology to enable effective marketing and communications across school. Previous school experience would be highly beneficial. You will be made to feel welcome by the existing team who are friendly and supportive. Ideally, you will already possess an enhanced DBS certificate. Job details: * Working in a busy and professional school environment. * Collaborating with the marketing and communications team across multiple schools in the local area. * Managing the school #39;s social media and other channels of marketing. * Creating a regular school newsletter and circulating as appropriate. * Using the school #39;s marketing and communications equipment effectively and properly. * Excellent ICT skills required. * Photography skills would be beneficial. * Good teamwork, contributing to ideas and progress with regular Teams meetings. * Often working independently - must have the confidence to work alone and make decisions. * General administration support to the school on an ad-hoc basis. * Organisation skills - handling phone calls, managing emails and typing letters. * Distribution of newsletters and other school information - the ability to write clearly and effectively is important. * The successful applicant will have excellent people skills.
