Senor project development engineer

Carbon60 are currently working with a leading industrial engineering company to recruit a Senior Project Development Engineer on a permanent basis to support the engineering team in the development of engineering projects, processes and development plans. The position will be on a hybrid basis with the main office being in central London but will require travel to various sites across the UK as well as working from home. Roles Responsibilities: Lead the development of proposals for new growth opportunities in the sorting and recycling sector ( i.e. plastic recycling, glass recycling) by interacting with internal Subject Matter Experts and the supply chain. Maintain a complete understanding of the sorting and recycling plants #39; (those assigned to you) performance at all times. Identify saving initiatives and prepare the feasibility studies for continuous improvement and optimisation projects for the sorting and recycling assets, and present them to manager and operation for approval. Lead on the technical designs of new recycling facilities, including concept technical solution development, costing, performance guarantees from suppliers by interacting with internal and external stakeholders.Experience Required: Experience in engineering background (Mechanical, Process, Industrial, Electrical) or in waste management and recycling sector. Experience in developing feasibility studies and projects #39; business cases. Experience in project planning, development and management skills. Relevant experience in sorting and recycling process or similar industry (i.e.aggregates processing) Excellent skills in writing and delivering high quality reports and presentations. Ability to manipulate data to produce complex reports.Package: Competitive salary of GBP50 - GBP55,000 per annum. Car/Car Allowance. 17.5% performance based bonus.
