The opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Senior Project Managers and Project Managers based on Sizewell C (SZC) to join a highly competent workforce of nuclear specialists. The role As a Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, the purpose of your role is to provide operational sponsorship direction and oversight to key projects. This role will be Based in London 2-3 days per week with Hybrid working available Your duties and responsibilities will be * Working closely with the Supply Chain, Responsible Designer, Engineering and Quality teams, you rsquo;ll be dedicated to delivering a group of nuclear power plant systems, structures, components, and contracts within one of the delivery programmes * You will be responsible for the timely delivery of engineering studies by the RD or by key contractors and for ensuring they meet the needs of the SZC project. * Working together you will drive the implementation of SZC site-specific design changes into the design deliverables in their programme, including contract specifications to enable robust pricing. * You rsquo;ll work with multidisciplinary teams on post financial investment contracts, and drive the implementation of site- specific design changes. * This post also has the responsibility to ensure delivery of all (or part of) the engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning activities in accordance with the overall Project schedule. You will have the following qualifications and experience * Degree educated, ideally in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field * APM PMQ or equivalent and proficient in the use of project management tools * You rsquo;ll have a track record of delivering projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment whilst ensuring high levels of safety, security and environmental responsibility within the Nuclear Energy sector or similar regulated environment. * Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors throughout large and complex construction projects, in a regulated environment will be key. * You rsquo;ll be able to demonstrate experience of managing projects through the project lifecycle from concept to handover * Additionally, you rsquo;ll have good presentation, influencing and facilitation skills as well as excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to develop relationships and maintain effective networks.
