Job Title: Assistant Acoustic Consultant Reference: SC1164 Location: Remote, Based in London Salary: GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 per annum, Plus Benefits The Company: My client is a UK-based independent Acoustic consultancy, focussing on building Acoustics. They are looking for an Assistant Acoustic Consultant to work remotely while being based in London. Their services include Acoustic consultancy and design review, noise impact assessments, sound testing, and Acoustic materials. Furthermore, they are involved in a range of project types, across a variety of sectors. The Role: As an Assistant Acoustic Consultant, you will be undertaking noise surveys, modelling assessments and report writing for projects at the design stags of construction. Site visits are required, however, the written aspects of the role may be completed remotely. Role responsibilities include: Undertaking noise modelling using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., Odeon, Insul, and Cadna). Completing noise impact assessments, according to British standards BS4142 and BS5228. Collating Acoustic data to write factual reports for clients. Assistant Acoustic Consultants may provide Graduate Consultants with guidance. The ideal candidate will have: One year experience as an Acoustic Consultant, is required. Membership to the Institute of Acoustics. Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., Odeon, Insul, and Cadna).. Degree in Acoustics or Physics.
