If you are an experienced Transport professional looking for an exciting opportunity, then this position could be the perfect role for you. Key role responsibilities: middot;Produce Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans for development schemes. middot;Deliver highways preliminary design and have an understanding of civils design. middot;Working collaboratively with engineers and other technicians to deliver quality evidence led reports by a variety of measures. Key skills, experience and attributes required: middot;A minimum qualification of a degree in Transport planning or similar (Geography etc.). middot;Use various computer software programs which will include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Access), AutoCAD and more specialist software including; PICADY / ARCADY (Junctions 9), LINSIG, TRICS and TEMPRO. middot;Knowledge and understanding of national and local planning and highways design standards and ability to interpret and communicate these policies effectively. middot;Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients. middot;Ability to work within a team and also able work under own initiative. middot;Excellent organisational skills and able to prioritise workload.
