Personal Assistant (Support Worker) Salary: GBP13 or GBP15 on UMBERLLA SCHEME Location: Wakefield Area Work hours: Part time, full time Shift pattern: 9am-7pm / 7pm - 9am (with a sleeping shift from midnight - 9am) Are you an experienced and compassionate Personal Assistant/Support Worker with a minimum of 6 months #39; UK-based healthcare experience. About the role We are recruiting on behalf of Yorkshire Community Healthcare who are looking for an experienced Support Worker with a compassionate and caring nature, ideally with experience in working in the field of ABI however full training and support will be provided to the right person. What you #39;ll be doing: Encourage the client #39;s active lifestyle, including leisure activities. Accompany clients to medical appointments. Assistance with budgeting and shopping Provide guidance and support with cooking and meal preparation. Create a positive and engaging environment through companionship and social interactions. Build a strong and trusting relationship with the client supporting her to achieve her goals. Driving the client to appointments/outings Requirements: Right to work in the UK A minimum of 6 month #39;s UK-based health or social care experience is essential. Compassionate and patient nature with excellent communication skills Must be happy to work with the client #39;s cats. Enthusiastic and outgoing personality to connect with the client and create a positive atmosphere. VALID UK CLEAN DRIVING LICENCE Access to your own vehicle with proof of tax and MOT Business insurance and ability to drive the client in your own vehicle.
