Role: Machine Operative Shift Pattern: 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am rotation Hours:40 hours a week Duration: 6 months initally Salary: GBP16.42ph About the role DS Smith are looking for a Machine Operative to join the team and play a vital role in achieving the business goals of our Packaging division, which produces corrugated packaging solutions for a range of customers in the FMCG, Pharmaceutical, Electronics and Industrial sectors. Responsibilities: You will be responsible for the safe operation of machinery, ensuring efficiencies are maximised and downtime is minimised. You will have set productivity and performance targets to achieve, ensuring that consistent quality standards are met, and you will need to ensure that maintenance and cleaning tasks are carried out correctly, in line with the planned maintenance schedule. We #39;d also like for you to support and assist with improvement initiatives, as and when they arise.
