The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supervising our team of Social Workers, chairing complex meetings, and ensuring high standards of practice and performance are met. Key Responsibilities: * Supervision and Support: Oversee and provide guidance to a team of 5 Social Workers (SWs), ensuring effective case management and professional development. * Meeting Leadership: Chair complex and multi-disciplinary meetings, ensuring all perspectives are considered and decisions are made in the best interest of the child. * Quality Assurance: Conduct regular Quality Assurance (QA) checks on Social Work practice to maintain high standards and compliance with regulatory requirements. * Performance Management: Monitor and manage performance targets, ensuring timely and effective interventions and outcomes for children in need. * Work Allocation: Ensure the safe and appropriate allocation of cases, balancing workloads and priorities within the team. For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be SWE registered. Furthermore, you will have at least two years post qualifying experience in statutory child care setting.
