Occupational Health Therapist ndash; Peripatetic London, North West London to include Harrow, Enfield, Uxbridge and Twickenham 37.5 hours per week (7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week) Earnings up to GBP32,000 per annum Our well established and reputable, national client are currently seeking an experienced Occupational Health Therapist to join their team due to continued business growth. The successful candidate must have a general nursing qualification or evidence of Occupational Health Technician training or experience with a full, clean UK driving licence to be considered for this role. Our client will consider training candidates with transferable skills such as a degree in Sports Science, experienced EMT rsquo;s or those with a nursing background. Within this role, the successful candidate will be required to deliver a competent and professional, high quality mobile and static health surveillance service to a vast range of clients. Please note, candidates hold a full clean UK drivers licence. Key Duties: To undertake health surveillance/health promotion activities as required. Preparation of mobile vehicle including vehicle, equipment, stocks and supplies. Preparation of all paperwork, files and associated forms. Ensure that adequate stocks and supplies are kept, ordered and distributed as required. Checking of all equipment including ensuring calibration checks, PAT Testing as well as location and logistics logs are maintained. Maintaining cleanliness of all equipment and mobile vehicles to a high standard. Completing all required forms, databases, logs as directed. Maintaining a record of mileage and petrol usage. Maintaining accurate records of all expenses incurred. Completion of surveillance data and triaging for escalation to OHP. Maintaining and ensuring competence in use of all equipment used and testing required. To contribute to the development of policies, procedures and safe systems of work. Be geographically aware and plan routes, liaising with the Health Surveillance Manager regarding logistics. Ensure adequate fuel in vehicles at all times. To comply with Data Protection policy at all times. To undertake administration duties as required. Identify improvements/enhancements to the service where necessary. Maintain personal and professional development, participate in and provide training as required, highlighting any area where further training is required. To undertake drug and alcohol testing. To undertake venepuncture as required and process samples in accordance with guidance. To administer vaccinations as required (Trained Nurses only) Undertake office-based duties when not required to travel. Attend in-house Clinical Audit days and departmental meetings. Required Skills and Experience: Candidates must have a full clean driver rsquo;s licence, able to drive and park a mobile unit at home. General Nursing qualification or evidence of OH technician training/experience. Flexibility to travel all over UK including overnight stays when necessary. We will also look at training candidates with transferable skills like a degree in Sports Science, experienced EMT rsquo;s or those with a nursing background. Flexible in approach Working Area: Our business model is based on keeping our OHT rsquo;s within 70 - 80 miles of their home address. This reduces the number of overnight stays and gives a better work/life balance. However, overnight stays although greatly reduced, will be required from time to time. Hotel and meal allowances are paid by the company. Although we try out best to meet these parameters in some remote locations like Scotland and Cornwall for instance there will be increased overnight stays. Working starts and finishes: Applicants should be aware that start and finish times are dependent on our client needs which can be a mixture of early, usual or late starts and some shift work between the hours of 11pm and 6am paid at a higher rate. Core hours are 37.5 hrs per week (7.5hrs x 5 days per week). The Offering: GBP22,000 - GBP24,900 per annum ndash; Plus optional overtime opportunities Overtime opportunities available which can take earnings up to +/- 32K per annum (calculations based on 8 ndash; 9 hrs OT per week).
