Finance assistant

CMA is delighted to be partnering with our well-established manufacturing client based near Christchurch, Dorset currently in need of a Finance Assistant to join their fast-paced finance function following a busy period of growth. Reporting to the Finance Manager you will be joining the team on a permanent basis and your responsibilities will include processing payment runs, invoices, and reconciling supplier accounts. What will the Finance Assistant role involve? Processing purchase ledger invoices on a daily basis; Matching purchase orders; Prepare payment runs before manager sign-off; Perform regular reconciliations of supplier accounts and resolve any discrepancies; Managing any ad hoc duties accordingly. Suitable Candidate for the Finance Assistant vacancy: Strong knowledge of transactional accounts including purchase ledger; Proficient user of Excel and accounting systems; Previous experience of Navision or Microsoft Dynamics would be advantageous; Confident communicator in both written and verbal skills, happy to interact across all levels of the business.
