Mechanical maintenance engineer

Role: Maintenance Engineer Salary: GBP54,000 salary, OTE = GBP60,000 Overtime Rate: 1.5x Location: Birmingham ndash; Tamworth Shift pattern: 4 on 4 Perm Nights. Holliday Allowance: 23 days per annum I have an incredible opportunity available for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a team of leading manufacturers in their industry. The site will be a exemplar of British manufacturing in producing building products through their new innovative systems. Our client is a multi-billion-pound company who operate on a worldwide scale. They are looking to recruit an ambitious dedicate engineer who can fit into their team. The ideal Engineer will have friendly, positive and team player qualities which they will be able to utilise working with engineers to maintain production. The Role: The role for the Maintenance Engineer will include carrying out daily task including: Diagnose and repair electrical problems on a wide range of industrial equipment, including fault-finding, rewiring, and monitoring. Working on a variety of equipment including ;mixers, conveyors, hydraulics packaging, conveyors, robotics, hydraulics, conveyors, pneumatics. Conduct routine maintenance and testing on industrial equipment and ensure installations are to manufacturer standards. Rewire faulty electrical systems, such as lighting and heating systems. Fault finding, isolating, and locking of, using a multi meter. Using the interfaces on the furnaces, fault finding through the outputs Common issues replacing broken motors and switches. The Person: To be considered for this role you must have the following: Level 3 Mechanical Engineering Qualifications Manufacturing Industry Experience Your Benefits: Working for a multi-billion GBP organisation. 1.5X/ pay for over time Pension ndash; You pay 5% company pays 5% pension.
