Lift service callout engineer

Teknical Talent Ltd are currently recruiting a qualified Lift Service Engineer to join our clients ever growing team within the South West of England region. Routes to be covered: Reading, Maidenhead, Slough and Bracknell areas. The successful candidates will have experience working with all types of lifts and controller manufactures, as well as the ability to think critically and creatively. A qualification of NVQ3 as a minimum is required from all applicants. The role will be best suited to engineers with a service and call out background with some minor repairs when required. Normal working hours are 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am ndash; 3.30pm door to door travel paid with out of hours night call being required at a flexible rate of 1 in 4, this comes with a generous standby fee plus any overtime worked. Salary negotiable, regular overtime available. Previous experience within the Lift Industry is essential and pay is negotiable depending on experience and qualifications. Immediate start available. Overtime is paid door to door at rates of time and a half Monday to Saturday and double time Sunday. Company vehicle, company fuel card and mobile phone provided with all the associated benefits. Person specification: * To be customer focused with the ability to maintain a professional attitude at all times. * To provide good organisational skills and to prioritise required tasks. * To self-motivate and attend company training as available. * Hold a full clean driving licence and be willing to travel. Qualifications/Experience: * Qualified to or above NVQ3 (or equivalent) in Engineering Maintenance (Lift Servicing) * Mechanical/electrical experience and/or a relevant engineering or electrical qualifications.
