Duties and responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician : bull; Perform service and repair tasks on various mechanical equipment, including engines, turbochargers, pumps, and heat exchangers, within marine or industrial settings. bull; Conduct detailed cleaning, inspection, and reporting procedures in adherence to established standards and protocols. bull; Work within a team environment, contributing to the timely completion of projects and tasks bull; Mechanical expertise and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions during service and repair activities bull; Demonstrate ability to work autonomously when necessary, displaying self-motivation and initiative in task execution Qualifications and requirement for the Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Technician: bull; Marine Engineering or Mechanical Engineering background is advantageous but not mandatory. bull; Possession of a Forklift Driving certification is a plus. bull; Awareness of Asbestos hazards is beneficial but not required bull; Proficiency in General Machining bull; Must be able to travel to Penryn, near Falmouth This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
