The role offers an annual salary ranging between GBP45,000.00-GBP55,000.00, a GBP1000 joining bonus, and an additional bonus for achieving a GOOD or OUTSTANDING OFSTED rating. Our client is on the lookout for a Manager who has the confidence to oversee their home and ensure compliance with all the necessary laws, policies, and procedures. As the Registered Manager for the Children #39;s Home, your responsibilities will include: Managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of a residential children rsquo;s home. Ensuring the safety, welfare, and well-being of the children and young people residing in the home. Leading and managing a team of staff to provide a high-quality service to children and young people. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, young people, their families, and other stakeholders. Ensuring that the home meets or exceeds OFSTED rsquo;s requirements. Planning and managing the home rsquo;s budget and resources effectively. Participating in on-call duties on a rota basis. Referral programme.The ideal candidate for the Registered Manager for the Children #39;s Home role should have: A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Residential Childcare). A minimum of 2 years rsquo; experience managing an OFSTED-registered home with a rating of GOOD or above. Experience working with children and young people with challenging behaviours/EBD. A full UK driving licence. Excellent knowledge of current legislation, including The Children rsquo;s Homes England Regulations 2015, Quality Standards 2015, the Children rsquo;s Act 1989, Children Act 2004, and other relevant legislation related to residential children rsquo;s homes.
