Assembly operative

Our client based in Corby is looking for an Assemby Operative to join their small time. Key Responsibilities: Assembly Tasks: Assemble products or components according to detailed instructions. Use hand tools, power tools, or machinery to assemble products. Follow specific assembly procedures and protocols to ensure quality and efficiency. Quality Control: Inspect parts and components for defects before and during the assembly process. Ensure finished products meet quality and safety standards. Report any issues or defects to the supervisor immediately. Efficiency and Productivity: Work to meet production targets and deadlines. Keep pace with the production line and perform tasks in a timely manner. Health and Safety: Follow health and safety guidelines and protocols at all times. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents and injuries. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Assist other team members when needed. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Documentation: Complete any required documentation accurately, such as production logs or quality control reports. Maintain records of completed tasks and any issues encountered.Skills and Qualifications: Basic Skills: Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, diagrams, and blueprints. Basic math skills for measuring and assembling components accurately. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Understanding of assembly techniques and processes. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination Hours are: Monday - Thursday 9am-5pm Friday 9am-4pm Pay Rate: GBP11.44 p/h Please apply if interested
