An excellent opportunity has arisen in Reading for a Class Teacher - KS2, paying between GBP30k - GBP40k depending on experience and the hours will be 32.5 hours per week. Please note this is a 12-month maternity contract. As a Class Teacher - KS2, you will be responsible for: Supporting the vision, ethos and policies of the school and promoting high levels of achievement. Supporting the creation and implementation of the school improvement plan. Organising and managing teaching and learning. The development and monitoring of the curriculum provision. Supporting the Headteacher in the monitoring of the quality of teaching and children #39;s achievements. The pastoral care of children, promoting independence and good behaviour, in accordance with school policies. Developing the use of new and emerging technologies and techniques within the classroom Providing clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge Taking account of pupils #39; needs by providing structured learning opportunities which develop the areas of learning identified in national and local policies and particularly the foundations for English and Mathematics Encouraging pupils to think and talk about their learning, develop self-control and independence, concentrate and persevere and listen attentively.The successful Class Teacher - KS2 will have the following related skills / experience: Degree educated QTS Enhanced DBS The motivation to achieve the very best for the children in our care and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence. Excellent inter-personal skills Experience as an effective good and outstanding classroom teacher. Excellent communication skills and a good sense of humour Good organisational skills Creativity which drives all aspects of teaching and learning
