Senior quantity surveyor

Job Role: Senior Quantity Surveyor Location: South Yorkshire Salary: GBP55,000/GBP70,000 + Package (D.O.E) Our client a leading Main Contractor are seeking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis to cover schemes (Residential, Student Accommodation, Care, Industrial, Commercial) throughout the Yorkshire region. Job Role: Contributing to project commercial strategies and taking ownership for their own subcontract packages Demonstrating understanding of internal and external tender strategies / build up Maximising project cash/value by effective management of subcontract Working with the Commercial Manager to agree and produce main and subcontract final accounts Contributing to relevant project procurement strategies with particular reference to issuing tender enquiries, package reconciliations and production of subcontract orders Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
