GBP38,126 Per Annum Monday - Friday (Rotating Shifts) Based in Rotherham Search are recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing company, who specialise in the manufacture of injection moulded plastic products. With sites across the UK, Ireland, Canada, US, Belgium, China and Mexico this organisation has a significant network and infrastructure. This role is specifically based at the highly recognised Rotherham Site, where a weekly rotating shift pattern is in place 21:45 - 05:45 13:45- 21:45 05:45-13:45 This permanent opportunity has a wide range of benefits including: 25 Days Annual Leave plus statutory holidays Christmas Shutdown Overtime time and a half and double time Pension Scheme matched up to 7% Life Assurance x4 of annual salary Free parking on site Highly experienced and supporting management team To be successful in this role you will be competent in the below Install and start up moulds following SOPs and safe practice Carry out colour changes working to SMED principles Complete tool changes and plate changes if required Ensure #39;first off #39; products are produced to the required specification and ensure quality checks have been completed before clearing for production Investigate, diagnose and solve problems relating to the moulding process where performance is below the required level Liaise with other departments to ensure problems are solved quickly Working as part of a disciplinary team, you may carry out tasks outside your core skills e.g. CI projects, New product introductions, machine moves etc To work within 5S, SMED, Kaizen and Health Safety systems in production areas Other ad hoc duties as they arise For this role you will require the following skills and experience Knowledge and experience of large format injection moulding Up to date knowledge of modern injection moulding machinery and tooling A recognised engineering apprenticeship (Desirable but not essential) Educated to ONC or above in appropriate engineering discipline (Desirable but not essential) Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age
