Accountant

Job Title: Accountant Location: Slough Salary: 45- 55k My client is looking for an Accountant to join their team, this role offers lots of development for the right person. This is a fast-paced role, managing the accounts for a growing company so previous experience working in a similar role is must. This role will be covering both the UK and Europe so previous experience working across these regions would be beneficially. Duties: * Preparing monthly management accounts * Supporting schedules for UK and European subsidiaries * Monthly consolidation of European companies across multiple divisions * Assisting in annual audit process * Preparing monthly reporting packs and various balance sheet and expense accounts * Oversee the preparation of monthly project costing, recharges and comparison to budget with variance analysis * Preparing weekly cashflows for subsidiaries * VAT and intrastate reporting * Compiling budget information from UK and European subsidiaries and creating local and regional budgets * Ensuring compliance with financial internal controls and policies are maintained * Identifying and driving process improvements Attributes: * Analytical and process driven * Team player * Excellent / Expert presentation and MS Excel skills
