Behaviour support assistant

Behaviour support Specialist provisions in and around the Burnley area are looking to hire behaviour support mentors to provide additional care for their pupils. The schools all cater for pupils with additional needs including, Special Educational Needs, Social Emotional Mental Health, Autism, ADHD, Speech Language and Communication Needs and challenging behaviours. The schools require additional support both now and in the new academic year for their new intake of pupils, they all provide their pupils with interventions to support the whole child both educationally and holistically. As a behaviour support mentor your role is to ensure the wellbeing and safety of all pupils in your care, they will all have an EHCP (educational health care plan) and require additional support in all areas particularly that of ensuring acceptable behaviours and social situations. Key Information Full-time and part-time roles Working days, Monday to Friday Burnley based Competitive rate of hourly pay GBP12.90 - GBP15.25 p/h.
