Assistant Nursery Practitioner (Full Time/part time) Leeds GBP85 ndash; GBP95 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) May 2024 ndash; ongoing The role Vision for Education is currently recruiting Assistant Nursery Practitioners to join a private nursery in Leeds to start in May on a Full-Time basis. Candidates will be required to work between 30 to 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 7.00 am and 6.00 pm on a shift system. We are looking for 3 full time equivalent staff and other ad hoc requirements to cover sickness. The nursery There are 3 nurseries across Leeds located in LS2, LS7 and LS8, catering for 168 children aged 3 months to 5 years. Requirements The desired Assistant Nursery Practitioner will have: Candidate must have an Ofsted recognised level 2 qualification in childcare Experience of working in a nursery preferred though not essential Enhanced DBS and paediatric first aid trained Vision for Education is committed to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults. All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
