Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Contracts Manager to lead the delivery of our repairs and maintenance (R M) contract across the South East coast. Based in St Leonards, with occasional travel to Sittingbourne and Stratford, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the R M contract, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Contract Management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of the repairs and maintenance contract, including procurement, subcontractor management, and performance monitoring.Quality Assurance: Ensure that all repair works meet regulatory standards, health and safety requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to prioritize and complete repair works in a timely manner, minimizing disruption to tenants.Stakeholder Engagement: Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, contractors, and internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.Financial Management: Monitor expenditure against budgetary allocations, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure value for money in contract delivery.Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure contract performance and identify areas for improvement.Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with contract delivery and implement strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.Reporting: Prepare regular reports on contract performance, financial expenditure, and other relevant metrics for divisional management and external stakeholders. Requirements: Proven experience in contract management within the housing sector, with a focus on repairs and maintenance. Strong understanding of building maintenance processes, regulations, and health and safety standards. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team. Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with experience in stakeholder engagement. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Full UK driving license. Willingness to travel occasionally to Sittingbourne and Stratford (Head Office). Bachelor #39;s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (only preferred).
