Marine parts business development manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen with our marine-industry based client for an experienced Parts Manager to take the lead and grow their parts and e-commerce depart in Ipswich. Providing an outstanding level of service to yacht owners and dealerships around the world, the successful candidate will develop new business, attracting new customers and increasing e-commerce sales via online platforms, whilst supporting warranty and postproduction parts requirements. Managing a small team, they will also control main core stock maximising sales volume and margins and oversee shipping and storage. Duties will include: * New Business Development ndash; specifically website and social media * Completing perpetual and quarterly stock check * Maximizing eBay selling opportunities and maintaining satisfaction score. * Providing excellent customer service to enhance customer experience. * Managing the day-to-day running of the Parts Sales team, including workload and people management. * Managing all parts orders for dealer support, part sales, warranty postproduction. * Developing professional and productive relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers. Applicants must have: * Experience of parts management and stock control * Knowledge of social media and e-commerce * Entrepreneurial flair to identify new business opportunities * A positive attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills * The ability to work independently and as part of a team, * Excellent attention to detail and be highly organised * Strong IT skills ndash; Syteline, Zero and Unleashed knowledge would be an advantage In return, the successful candidate will receive a competitive salary with uncapped commission and a good benefits package. Hours of work 8.00am ndash; 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. 24 days holiday plus BH.
