Senior quantity surveyor

Senior Groundwork Quantity Surveyor Required I am currently working with a well-established and reputable groundwork contractor now looking to expand their commercial team. To maintain their high standards, they are looking to hire a Senior quantity surveyor as well as an assistant quantity surveyor to work alongside to cope with the increased workload. Projects * Residential Groundwork projects across Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. * Values - GBP5 million up to GBP20 million Salary * GBP80,000 ndash; GBP90,000 + package, car allowance bonus Experience Required * Minimum of 8 years rsquo; experience working for a groundwork subcontractor * Experience of working on projects with values between - GBP5 million - GBP20 million * Experience of working alongside mentoring assistant QS rsquo;s Responsibilities * Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors * Measure, price, negotiate and agree budgets and costs * Check project costs are correct and raise/resolve queries where necessary * Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of agreed actions * Visit site to measure and value works completed * Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the site * Assist in the guidance and development of quantity surveyors
