The Role of Field Service Engineer This is a field based role and we are looking for a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer where you will be tasked with visiting customers servicing, repairing and demonstrating commercial cleaning machines in line with SLA #39;s. As a Field Service Engineer you will carry out reactive repair and service visits as well as some planned maintenance visits. The role of Field Service Engineer is: * To provide effective and technically competent breakdown and preventative maintenance services to products and systems at a variety of customer sites. * 80% servicing pressure washers and floor care machines 20% servicing road sweeper municipal machinary. * To identify and communicate to customers, solutions and problems they encounter with the performance of their equipment such as repair and maintenance. * To identify changes to individual customer contracts in terms of equipment covered, customer contact information and site requirements and feedback of such information. * To ensure that any customer reports are completed professionally, and the outcome and recommendations of any visit. * Provide customer with advice to ensure they are maximizing the potential of their machines. The Candidate for the Field Service Engineer * Experience as a Field Service Engineer (Electro mechanical or electrical or mechanical) * Experience servicing equipment such as industrial machines, municipal equipment, plant hire, capital equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy automotive, light automotive, cleaning machines, FLT Forklift Trucks, horticultural / agricultural machinery material handing MHE, White Goods etc are of interest.
