About the Role: As a SEN Teacher, you #39;ll play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and delivering tailored lessons and learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of students with SEN, fostering academic progress and personal development. Collaborating closely with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and personalized support strategies. Utilising your expertise in SEN pedagogy and best practices to differentiate instruction, adapt resources, and provide appropriate accommodations and modifications. Embracing creativity and innovation in your teaching approach, employing a variety of engaging activities, technologies, and teaching methodologies to inspire and motivate students. Monitoring student progress, assessing learning outcomes, and providing timely feedback to support continuous improvement and attainment. Academic Requirements: To excel in this role, you will need: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Specialised training or experience in SEN teaching and interventions, ideally with a focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. A strong understanding of SEN legislation, policies, and best practices in inclusive education. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Mandatory Requirements: The Right to Work in the UK. An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application through us.
