Quality control inspector

Quality Engineer / Site Inspector required to support the construction, structural steel and building envelope on prestigious project in Deeside. The postholder will be working alongside the Quality Manager supporting the following: #xF0FC; Determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications #xF0FC; Assessing customer requirements and ensuring that these are met. #xF0FC; Specifying quality requirements of raw materials with suppliers, sub-contractor, and other trade handovers #xF0FC; Investigating and setting standards for quality and health and safety. #xF0FC; Site Quality inspection plans and assessments. #xF0FC; Ensuring that manufacturing processes comply with standards at both national and international level. #xF0FC; Raising Non-Conformance Reports and follow through for claims and corrective actions. #xF0FC; Working with operating staff to establish procedures, standards, and systems. #xF0FC; Writing management and technical reports and customers #39; charters. #xF0FC; Determining training needs. #xF0FC; Encouraging change and improvement in performance and quality. #xF0FC; Directing objectives to maximise profitability. #xF0FC; Recording, analysing, and distributing statistical information. #xF0FC; Carrying out and monitoring testing and inspection of products and materials to ensure the finished product meets quality standards. #xF0FC; Monitoring performance. #xF0FC; Building strong working relationship with clients QA team The successful candidate: Essential: Previous construction site experience, IT literate and be able to prepare Quality Plans, Test Reports, Non-conformance Reports, EWNs Compile Quality Records Packages. Advantageous: Knowledge of Welding, Steel Erection, Cladding etc. Qualifications: Quality / Inspection Qualification an advantage, CSCS Card is essential.
