Fire security engineer

Key Responsibilities: bull; Install, service, and maintain a wide range of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms. bull; Conduct regular testing and inspection of systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards. bull; Diagnose and repair faults in fire and security systems. bull; Provide technical support and advice to clients. bull; Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with industry regulations. bull; Maintain accurate records of all work carried out. bull; Participate in an on-call Rota for emergency callouts Essential Criteria: bull; Relevant technical qualifications in fire and security systems or electrical engineering. bull; Experience with a wide range of fire and security system brands and models. bull; Proven experience in the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire and security systems. bull; Strong understanding of current industry standards and regulations. bull; Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. bull; Full driving license and willingness to travel to various client sites. bull; Good communication skills and professionalism in dealing with clients bull; Ability to work independently and as part of a team. bull; Flexibility to participate in out-of-hours emergency callouts. bull; Prior experience working on the front line directly with customers. Desirable Criteria: bull; Membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., FIA, ECS). bull; Additional certifications or training in fire and security systems. bull; Familiarity with network systems and IP-based security solutions. bull; Role model for junior engineers and apprentices. bull; Project lead and mentoring experience.
