School cleaner

Job Title: School Cleaner Location: Gloucestershire Area Hours: Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week (3 hours per day) Shift Options: 7:00 am to 10:00 am 11:00 am to 2:00 pm 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm Payrate GBP11.50 Per Hour. Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and reliable School Cleaner to join our client rsquo;s team in the Gloucestershire area. The ideal candidate will ensure the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the school premises are maintained to a high level, providing a safe and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Key Responsibilities: * Perform cleaning duties according to established procedures and schedules, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. * Clean and disinfect washrooms, replenishing supplies as needed. * Empty and dispose of waste bins and recyclables in designated areas. * Ensure that cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely and appropriately. * Report any maintenance issues or health and safety concerns to the appropriate personnel. * Follow all health and safety regulations and procedures * Work collaboratively with other members of the cleaning team to achieve cleanliness goals efficiently. * Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times. Requirements: * Prior experience in a similar cleaning role is preferred * Enhanced DBS check is essential. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleaning tasks. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks. * Flexibility to work various shift patterns as required. * A commitment to upholding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
